Its 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, 55-inch wheelbase, 10.5-inch ground clearance, and full-size seat give it the planted feel and riding position riders expect from a larger bike—without the extra weight. At just 154 lbs with the battery installed, the R1+S is easy to throw into corners, maneuver through technical terrain, and load up for the next ride.

Factory-Upgraded Power

A 25kW peak mid-drive motor produces up to 550 Nm of torque for quick acceleration, strong hill-climbing ability, and usable power across a wide range of terrain. Choose between Eco, Sport, and Sport+ modes to match the bike’s response to your riding style, with regenerative braking available to add control on descents.

The 72V 55Ah semi-solid-state battery uses high-discharge cells for more consistent performance under load. RERODE reports roughly 60 miles of tested range, with a maximum claimed range of up to 81 miles at a steady 25 mph. A 4.5-hour charge time helps keep the bike ready for longer days on the trail.

Suspension and Braking That Match the Power

The R1+S comes equipped with RFloXa suspension from the factory, including 800 mm forks and a 265 mm rear shock. Adjustable high- and low-speed compression damping lets riders tune the front end for everything from smoother trail riding to harder, more technical terrain.

Large 240 mm hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide serious stopping power—roughly 20% larger than the brakes found on the Surron Ultra Bee. Paired with aggressive CST 70/100-21 front and 90/90-18 rear tires, the R1+S has the traction, control, and braking confidence to ride as hard as it looks.
