The JupiterBike RipTide packs everyday e-bike performance into a compact folding design that’s easy to take almost anywhere. Its lightweight magnesium alloy frame folds down for convenient storage in a car trunk, RV, apartment, office, or anywhere space is limited—without giving up the comfort and features you’d expect from a full-size electric bike.
A 350W brushless rear-hub motor, capable of 500W peak output, provides smooth and responsive power with a top speed of 20 mph. Use the twist throttle for instant acceleration without pedaling, or settle in for a longer ride with up to 35+ miles of range from the removable 36V 7.8Ah lithium-ion battery. When it’s time to recharge, the battery can be removed from the bike so you can easily bring it inside and plug it in.
The RipTide is also built with comfort in mind. Rear suspension helps absorb bumps and road vibration, while 16-inch pneumatic tires and an upright riding position make it well suited for city streets, paved trails, boardwalks, and everyday cruising. Front and rear disc brakes provide dependable stopping power, and a padded saddle keeps longer rides comfortable.
For everyday practicality, the RipTide comes ready with an integrated rear cargo rack and fenders for carrying your essentials and keeping road spray under control. A built-in front headlight and brake-activated rear light run directly from the main battery, while the handlebar-mounted LED display keeps your speed, battery level, and ride mode visible at a glance.
With a 265 lb maximum load capacity and UL 2849 electrical-system certification, the RipTide combines portability, useful range, and everyday functionality in a folding e-bike that’s equally at home on a commute, weekend ride, or packed away for your next trip.
