Bahama Blend - Light Roast Coffee Beans

$18.00

Simple, warm, and dependable, like an old pair of jeans you can't stop wearing. The Bahama Blend is roasted gently in order to bring out the light acidity and bold, sweet, chocolatey flavors that make an incredible morning cup; be it espresso, pourover, drip, moka pot, or campfire kettle. We don't judge.

We are thrilled to begin our foray into the world of coffee with our signature blend. This is a project that is the result of years of study, many hours of tasting, and a love for coffee.

To save money on shipping, we recommend grabbing more than one bag, as the shipping cost is the same for 2-4 bags as it is for one!

Where is it roasted?

Beachman coffee is roasted in Toronto, Canada by Stereo Coffee Roasters, just around the corner from our shop and headquarters. In particular, our coffee is roasted by Jake Taylor, the brother of Beachman Co-Founder Ben Taylor, who has had a life-long passion for coffee and bought his first espresso machine at the age of 15. The opportunity to come together and join their passions in creating this magnificent coffee was something truly special, and we hope you enjoy it.

Where is it from?

Bahama Blend is a rotating coffee blend. This means that as certain beans go out of season and new ones come in, we rotate them through the blend to ensure we have a consistent flavor profile year-round, something that is impossible with single-origin coffee.

Most of the year this blend is predominantly Ethiopian and Colombian and features coffees from Guatemala and a couple of other coffee-belt nations throughout the seasons. Regardless of how we rotate the beans, we strive to maintain the light acidity and sweet, chocolate notes that make the blend special.

What makes it premium?

Roasting locally with artisan roasters is only one step in the process. Our beans come from farms with extremely high standards of quality and are also packaged in 100% biodegradable bags. This packaging is costly, but it is also the right thing to do as we work to reduce our physical footprint on the earth.
